How to use modules

Modules are a very effective tool to manage recurring content elements that you want to display at various sections across different pages. This saves you an enormous amount of time and nerves. The great thing is: You can create modules from almost all website elements.  

Module overview

Go to Django CMS Demo and click on Modules. Click on Copy (left) and paste the module to your desired location. Please check out the to learn how copy & paste works in django CMS.

Create a new module

Open the section mode sidebar and select the element you want to add. Click on Create module and define name and category. After you have clicked on Create, the module will be added to the Modules repository .
